Andrei is Vice-President and Member of the Board with Ursus Breweries, a member of SABMiller Group, the second largest brewer in the world. In Romania Ursus Breweries is the undisputed market leader on the beer market, with a strong and balanced portfolio of brands like Ursus, Timisoreana, Ciucas, Peroni, Stejar, Azuga, etc

Andrei is heading the Sales and Distribution function since 3 years ago and he is part of the team that brought Ursus Breweries from the third position in the market in May 2006 to leadership position early 2009. He brought an increased focus on Off-Premise channel (shops, supermarkets, key accounts, etc) where the Company was under-represented 3 years ago, the sharp growth registered in this channel boosting the Company in the leadership position on the total beer market.

Prior to his Sales and Distribution assignment, Andrei was the Vice President Finance, Legal and IT with Ursus Breweries, having a strong financial background.

Before joining Ursus Breweries, Andrei has held various senior finance positions with British American Tobacco, both in Romania and Middle East.
